Upcycling: The Clown Paper Doll

Picture 157I had alot of fun making this doll. I colored the bags of paper blue for her skirt, and a white for her top. Her hat is made out of cardboard as is her body and the top fuzzy ball I got from an old sock that had the little balls with a string. The other designs I got from some paper I cut into pieces and glued on. Enjoy

Upcycling: The Blue Crochet Rug

Picture 231This rug is made completely out of plastic bags. I cut the bags into strip and joined them with a knot. I then proceeded to crochet them in a circular motion. I of course also used two other colors to give it more life. I used whatever crochet stich moved me at the time.Enjoy

Upcycling: Double Happiness Vase

Picture 245This vase is actually one of those cups you get in a restaurant of a tourist attraction. I decided to spray painted black and traced the double happiness sign from a chineese book and spray paint the sign. I then glued it on. I think I came as close as I could to the detail as I could. Enjoy
